The housing prices in Houston have been staying flat since 2015 because Houston’s economy has been hit by oil prices that began to fall since the summer of 2014. The housing prices even declined in 2016 and listings have been growing steadily since 2015. As oil prices rebounded again, Houston home prices began to rebound.

Chicago is the third largest city which represents central part of the United States, after New York City in east and Los Angeles in West. The current median price is around $ 280,000 which is only half price of New York. It is only one-third of the housing prices in LA metro area. The average price is $ 420,000. The rate of increase in house prices is steadily decreasing from 2015 because the Inventories are also declining. The sale period would take an average of two months, but the sale period will increase in 2018. Chicago housing prices recovered 82% from the bottom of the financial crisis.

Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, CA as of 2/2018

LA-Long Beach-Anaheim is the second largest metropolitan area in the United States. The median house price exceeds $ 700,000 and the average price is $ 1.5 million dollars. This price is 40% more expensive than the housing prices in New York-New Jersey which is the biggest city in the United States. The size of economy in LA is smaller than New York, but the price of the house is more expensive. The House prices continue to rise and supply is declining.

New York is the largest city in the United States. The median house price is approximately $ 480,000, but the average price is over $ 1 million which is twice of median price. The supply is steadily declining and housing is being sold at faster. It takes three months to sell the house in New York.

Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell, GA as of 2/2018

Atlanta house prices have risen steadily. And the median price in Atlanta is lower than in other big cities. Housing inventory is also steadily declining.  The houses in Atlanta are being sold more quickly until 2017.

아틀란타 주택가격은 꾸준히 상승했습니다. 그리고 중간가격이 다른 대도시에 비해서 낮습니다. 주택재고량도 꾸준히 감소하고 있습니다. 2017년까지 집이 팔리는기간이 점점 빨라지고 있읍니다.






The time to buy and sell a house was gradually decreasing from 2012 to 2017.  However, it takes longer to sell a house in February, 2018.
